2026 was the third year of this event since it was re-introduced to the Ashdown Arts schedule and once again it was proven popular with both Artists and the General Public. 22 members of Ashdown Arts exhibited at this 2026 exhibition (2025 15) as the number of group members have increased. As a leading member of Ashdown Arts and part of the organising team I took part of this exhibition in May. A rule for the exhibition is that members must exhibit only substantially different work to that shown in two art fairs in 2024 and 2025. The increased numbers mean that the space available to individuals is reduced but I exhibited a variety of different types of work created over time but not seen at this venue recently. The work included plein air landscapes, representational and abstract work in acrylics, enamel and glass paint. Over 300 members of the public visited this three day show.
